It’s the step mom’s fault. You don’t date/marry a guy who already has children if the children don’t accept you. Obviously the girl has a major problem with her step mom, so the step mom should do the right thing and step out of the picture.
Sorry honey, but your boyfriend/husband has kids and they should be more important to him than you are.
And it doesn’t matter if you feel the children are being mean with you and you don’t deserve it. Either their mom died or their parents divorced, and that’s hard enough for them. So if they won’t accept you for any reason, then you must accept it and respect that. Don’t try stealing their dad away from them.
The fact she even sued the girl proves step mom isn’t worth $2.
And the “lol” probably means that Brianna thinks there’s no reason to sue because step mom deserved the beating. Who knows, maybe she did? Stop step moms can be real bitches with the step kids.
I’m sure she’s one of those step moms who hate their boyfriend’s kids because they remind her of his ex wife.

So. if the children hate the step-whatever, too bad? That’s a great way to start raising delinquents. As the parent, if the kids don’t come first, you shouldn’t have them.
No, if the kids have a problem with the stepmom, they find a way to deal with it other than assault. Making your kids your #1 priority does not mean letting them run your life or giving up your own future happiness. In fact, THAT is a great way to raise delinquents by telling kids that they always get their way in life. Brianna is not the first girl in the world to have to deal with a step-parent she doesn’t like. Unless the stepmom is in some way abusing her, she has no right to behave this way.
That would be true if you had already screwed up your child’s brain. For someone who was in a stable household, both the parent and the child should like the Step. Violence is just a progression of the child’s anger beyond words and hate.
My mother died when I was 5. My dad decided to remarry when I was 6. My brother is 4 years younger than I am. Now I’m not sure if this has anything to do with what was in the post but after my real mother died and I got older, me and my step mom hated each other more and more. Seriously, fights almost every day. This is because my step mom and my dad decided to have more children soon after they married. 2 daughters, who are my half sisters. Now, as soon as they were born, things went really bad. After they were born, my dad got a new job, and it was a 2nd shift job. So we never saw him during the weekdays, which left all the kids alone in the house with our step mom. We were in fights constantly for things that I don’t really want to describe, but our two half sisters were always regarded as higher priority than us, and not just because they were younger, but they got away with almost everything as they grew older, as me and my brother received punishment for the most ridiculous things. I’ve had very demented thoughts but I’ve never taken action. When I was 15 I moved out of my parents house and moved to a different city into my grandparents house. I have heard that my brother was getting most of the heat then but right now things are doing fine. I’m 19 now and I live in my own apartment. My dad and step mom have moved into the same city as me and I do visit them from time to time, and I get along with my step mom now. The time apart did wonders I guess.

No matter how much you dislike your stepmom, resorting to violence is never validated. You especially don’t brag about it, or air your dirty laundry on Facebook. I hope the stepmom got a few good punches in that skank’s face. Sounds like she needs a good beating or two. (And no, I’m not a stepmom, I don’t have any kids, nor do I have a stepmom…I just hate stupid, trashy, unladylike girls).

Quite frankly, if Brianna is big enough or old enough to “beat up” (and who the hell knows what that means, it could be that she just slapped stepmom) stepmom, then she should be old enough to control herself, even if she is pissed about it. (Coming from a guy who had an evil stepmother as kid—a stepmother who is now a great person in my life today as an adult).

It’s a crime to beat someone up. the cops might have gotten called out to the incident and prosecuted the girl. I highly doubt the stepmom “sued” her.

I enjoy how people comment on this so rudely when they don’t even know the story to what happened, but unlike you’s I do know the story because this girl happens to be my friend so for one Brianna is not psychotic the only psychotic one was her step-mother who beat on her all the time but it was ok for the step mother to sue her for “beating” on her? Ok. And there are plenty more reasons on why her step-mother was completely psychotic but quite frankly that’s nobody’s business so I;m not gonna further this story to what else happened. The only other thing I am gonna say is you should keep your opinions on this “fail” to yourself unless you know the whole story. Seriously get lives.
